WOMMA Code of Ethics

The Word of Mouth Marketing Association released a draft of its Word of Mouth Marketing Code of Ethics           today. The document is being presented as a draft for public comment.
 
In brief, the WOMMA code:
     
  1. Consumer protection and respect are paramount
  2.  
  3. The Honesty ROI: Honesty of Relationship, Opinion, and Identity
  4.  
  5. We respect the rules of the venue
  6.  
  7. We manage relationships with minors responsibly
  8.  
  9. We promote honest downstream communications
  10.  
  11. We protect privacy and permission
WOMMA invites comments and revisions.
