The Blog’s New Role in Crisis Communications…

Interesting piece on FC Now tonight: The Blog’s New Role in Crisis Communications

Blogs have not been used much in crisis communication. “PR crisis” is a phrase that gets bandied about, but what we’re really talking about is business crisis or corporate crisis. A crisis is something that you can’t anticipate. An airplane crash is not a communications crisis. It’s a crisis, yes, but it’s not a communications crisis. That’s a drill. They have binders. They’re prepared for it.

  1. Hey ... was it easy to get Qumana to post the quote in the dotted-line box in which it appears ?  Were you using Q Pro to do that or were you able to do that using the lighter-weight Qumana LE ?

Can you show me or tell me how to do that / how you did that ?

  2. jon, in my cascading style sheet blockquotes show up as you see above. in qumana, i simply selected the text i wanted to blockquote and clicked the indent button. voila! i notice, however, that the style sheet did not work on the “interesting piece” text, which is times roman instead of what it should be.
