  2. They are awesome. Didn’t know they existed until I saw this video. They are called Pato Fu, and they are from Brazil. Thanks for a very pleasant musical discovery!

  3. That was really uncalled-for.

    Here I was, innocently checking out your blog late at night and you unleash that cavalcade of jarring images on me. If you’ve not seen “Super Troopers” - you must check it out. It is unmatched in sheer brain-damaged humor; and one of the motifs that recurs is these video clips starring a fictionalized fictional character (a concept which makes Proust smile, somewhere) and looking a lot like this.

    They called it “Afghanistanimation” - I think the movie was released before all the shit hit the fan on 9/11.

    Anyway.  Hi.  Thanks for the moment of mental vertigo.
