Getting Down to Business

I’m just a few minutes from leaving Vancouver, a very rainy city, for Seattle, another very rainy city, in order to attend the Blog Business Summit. I’m catching a ride down to Seattle with bloggers Tris Hussey, Jon Husband, Fred Fabro, and my husband, Travis Smith. I look forward to meeting a bunch of bloggers in person that I’ve only corresponded with, and to promoting “Buzz Marketing With Blogs For Dummies” for the first time at something like this. I’m especially looking forward to meeting Paul Chaney, who was both a contributor to the book, and its technical editor. He’s also, newly, the president of the Professional Bloggers Association, which will hold its first meeting at the conference.
