I’m usually a pretty good speller, but like all of us, I sometimes want to use a word that doesn’t just roll off the fingertips. I’ve been known to use the handy services of the Google dictionary search to find spellings, and today did so for the word “catatonic.”
If you’re unfamiliar with looking up word definitions in Google, here’s how: Type the words “define [word you want a definition for]” into the Google search box. Back comes a short definition. You can do the same thing for converting measurements and temperatues! For example, “convert -3C to Fahrenheit” comes back with the alarming news that -3 degrees Celsius = 26.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Very handy.”
At any rate, today I typed in “define catatonic” and got back “1. a feline medicinal drink. 2. the state of being immobilized by a contented kitty.”
Fuhnee.
Lol! Clever…I think.
